Every meal of the Sabbath is a sacred occasion. But one of the Sabbath meals stands out as a truly spiritual experience unlike the others. The third meal of the Sabbath occurs in the afternoon towards evening and is a meal that exists only on the Sabbath. It has the potential to be a time when the Spirit of God is truly palpable and holiness fills our homes. As the Sabbath day fades away, don’t let it slip away unnoticed. Rather, savor this time and spend every last minute tapping into the holiness of the Sabbath.
